Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for 1–2 weeks before your peel to prevent irritation and uneven results.
Hold Off on Hair Removal
Do not shave, wax, or use depilatories on the treatment area for at least 48 hours before your appointment to protect the skin barrier.
Pause Active Topicals
Discontinue exfoliants, retinoids, and other active skincare products 5–7 days prior to minimize sensitivity and ensure optimal healing.

What can I expect during a VI Peel Body?
After the peel is applied in-office, it is left on for 4–6 hours and then rinsed off at home.
What can I expect after a VI Peel Body?
Peeling typically begins on day 2 or 3 and may last up to 7 days, depending on the area treated. The peeling is similar to a sunburn flake and may be mild or moderate based on the thickness of the skin.
You’ll receive a take-home aftercare kit to support healing and hydration, and results will continue to improve over the following weeks as your skin regenerates. Most clients see smoother, more even-toned skin after just one session, but a series of 2–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results.
