VoluDerm™

The VoluDerm™ micro-needling treatment can be employed to address various aesthetic concerns on sensitive areas of skin such as the face, jawline, neck, hands, and décolleté. The treatment works to encourage the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin, both of which help to regenerate and rejuvenate skin in the targeted region(s). Based on the specific needs, goals, and skin type of the individual VoluDerm™ can be custom-tailored to help:

During treatment, the VoluDerm™ handpiece is pressed lightly onto the skin and gently guided over the targeted area as tiny micro-pins utilize RF energy to reach the mid-dermis layer. By creating these small dermal channels, the micro-pins and thermal energy effectively stimulate the body’s natural healing response, which spurs the production of new collagen and elastin within the skin. Over time, the continued growth of these structural elements helps to significantly improve the health and volume of the skin for a refreshed, more youthful appearance.

Following the VoluDerm™ treatment, some degree of redness and/or swelling in the targeted region(s) may initially be apparent. These side effects are both minimal and temporary. There is virtually no discomfort during or after the treatment, and the majority of individuals are able to return to normal daily activities—including light exercise—right away. The maximal benefits of VoluDerm™ treatments can take up to three months to be evident. Once final results are attained, the skin should look smoother, fuller, and beautifully renewed.
